  1. Thank you! This is a fantastic presentation, explanation of genetic markers of ancient Americans.
    I am a card holding Cherokee. Maybe you know what I’m saying already. My great grandpa was in Tahlequa in 1903 (approx)
    I have copies of documents and letters. He was given land grants for each of his children and a Cherokee tribal number. My mom and her siblings grew up on that farm. I lived there as a child. As you said it doesn’t matter what your blood sample shows. Your ancestor needed to be in Tahlequah to register before 1907 when Indian territory became Oklahoma…
